Dreaming America
A show dedicated to civic daydreaming in a time of possibility.
In this series of geometric paintings, I attempted to capture the moment of and experience of a paradigm shift. A paradigm shift is that moment in your head when your thoughts, feelings and emotions ‘gel’ with the physical experience you are having. You often say, “Aha!” and are left with peace. These works allude to a larger theme that I am exploring, which involves the ability of human beings to cause these moments for ourselves on an ongoing basis.
